More Information About The Holiday Cabin
This is an as new holiday rental cabin, finished to a very high standard for your comfort. It has double glazing, ramp access, a wooden veranda with wooden furniture as well as picnic bench and barbecue.

Heating is by electricity and/or the wood burning stove (all fuel provided).

There is carpeting throughout apart from the tiled bathroom and en suite shower room.

The lodge has a private, spring water supply providing pure, clear water with an ultra-violet purification system to guarantee that there will be no fluctations in quality.

The kitchen (left) has solid wood flooring, modern units, halogen hob and electric oven, combination microwave and washer dryer. There is also an exceptional variety of kitchen equipment supplied..

The living room (below) has digital TV and DVD.

Well trained dogs are accepted by arrangement. While we are dog lovers, we are also anxious to maintain the immaculate condition of the lodge so we ask that anyone bringing a dog takes care to keep it off the furniture and under control at all times.

Parking is adjacent to the lodge.
Cot and high chair can be provided.

The holiday cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 double (1 with en-suite facilities) and 1 twin. The rooms have fitted mirrored wardrobes.

The Cabin is looked after by a local holiday let management team, whose contact details are in the lodge. We are also very happy to receive any phone calls and emails from guests at any time.

From Ayr ;-
Take the A713 to St. John's town of Dalry. Turn left at the "Clachan" pub and drive up Dalry Main St. Turn left onto the B7000 and drive 3 miles.
At the junction for Lochinvar we are on the corner. There is a small sign on the right "Cuckoostone Cottage / Cloud Cuckoo Lodge. Take the right turn then left towards the back of our cottage and you will see the lodge on your right.

If you have sat. nav. using our postcode (DG7 3UA) it will take you to the farm past the cabin. Look for a new house with a big pond and the cabin is close-by in a little wood. There's a small sign at the side of the road saying "holiday cabin". You'll know you're in the right place if your satnav reads Latitude 55 degrees 8' 46" N Longitude 4 degrees 10' 5" E.

From Dumfries :-
Take the A75 to Castle Douglas. As you approach the town, take the right on to the by-pass and head for Ayr for 16 miles. As you enter Dalry village, at the 30 mile sign, turn right and drive up the hill past the school on your left and past a junction on the left. Continue over the brow of the hill and travel straight through the tiny crossroads on to the B7000 for Carsphairn.
